We partnered with ATCO Gas and Pipelines to manage the hazardous materials assessment, abatement, decommissioning, and deconstruction of natural gas regulating and gate stations across multiple locations in central and southern Alberta. This project presented several challenges, including the proximity of neighboring structures and the need to manage expectations from both internal and external stakeholders.

Our work began with pre-construction tasks, including the preparation of pre-tender estimates, the development and solicitation of tender documents, and the management of subcontractor contracts. During the abatement and deconstruction phase, we oversaw permitting, safety management, and compliance, ensuring that all activities were conducted in accordance with regulatory requirements. We also took charge of contract administration, full-time onsite coordination, budget and schedule management, regular stakeholder meetings, and quality assurance.

Throughout the project, we remained focused on safety, compliance, and effective communication with stakeholders, ensuring that each site was decommissioned and deconstructed efficiently and with minimal impact on the surrounding environment and communities. This project exemplifies our expertise in managing complex site operations with a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and quality.
