This project involved the comprehensive management and oversight of a site closure program for 19 sites located on the Ermineskin Cree First Nation reserve, executed by West on behalf of Canadian Natural Resources Limited (CNRL). Spanning from Q4 2021 to Q4 2022, the project included the abandonment of pipelines, decommissioning of facilities, and downhole abandonment, with a total budget of approximately $900,000.

As the lead contractor, West collaborated closely with CNRL to develop a detailed site closure plan that adhered to the strict requirements of a government grant program. The project was executed using a strategic mix of subcontracted services and self-performed tasks, maximizing efficiency while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
